Overview

This Masters provides professional education and training to deepen the knowledge and skills required to teach effectively in real-life contexts and become a tutor or mentor who can supervise and motivate others to learn or improve their professional skills. Participants will gain expertise in planning, coordinating and conducting training through experiential learning (e.g. internships and on-the-job training) in the healthcare and social care sectors. They will acquire tutoring skills and learn how to facilitate learning through implementing and testing different tutoring models and methods. The course aims to take a deeper look at different forms of tutoring that could be used in planning and conducting internships for health/social care Bachelor and Masters programmes, and on-the-job training such as strategies for continuing education in the medical field.
